Mt Evans' Sunset
About a year and a half ago, we moved across the street, into a Denver hi-rise that had previously blocked a good portion of our view of the mountains. The view of the mountains, and in particular the view of Mt Evans, was a big selling feature in getting us to move into a hi-rise, something we hadn't really considered before.
Since moving in I've taken photographs of Mt Evans, on average, every other day. I figure the total number of images is over 12,000. Now that we are planning to move back into a neighborhood, my days of photographing Mt Evans are numbered. And while we'll miss the view, we're glad to be moving into a neighborhood again, and I'll have a new view from City Park, that will include the city skyline with the mountains behind.
Here is a recent photo of Mt Evans taken at sunset from our balcony

A new site. It's about time. I've been meaning to do this for a long time. The old site was...well, old. My photography has changed, and the old site had become to much of a burden. It was difficult to change or add new content.
I have plenty of work that I've done over the last six years, or whatever it's been since I last updated the old site. It will take time to get everything up and organized, but rather than wait until I had everything together, I decided it was time to move ahead, otherwise it would never happen.
I know there are already aspects of the new site I'd like to change. It will likely be a work in progress for quite some time.
